Uzi said they recovered the stone; reports at the time said they wore a barbell afterward. The often-cited $24 million value was attributed to Uzi and a friend, not supported by an independent appraisal in the available coverage.
What happened at Rolling Loud Miami?
In an account reported by TMZ and Global News, Uzi said they jumped into the crowd during their July 2021 Rolling Loud Miami performance and the diamond was pulled out. Uzi put it this way: “I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped into the crowd and they kind of ripped it out.”
That is Uzi’s reported account, not independent identification of a person who removed the stone. The reports say Uzi recovered it and did not sustain serious facial damage; they also say Uzi wore a barbell in its place afterward.
How did the diamond end up in Uzi’s forehead?
Uzi began discussing the pink diamond publicly in early 2021. The FADER reported that Uzi said they had been paying for the stone since 2017 and valued it at $24 million. Revolt quoted Uzi describing its placement as “in the middle” of their forehead and explaining that the bar was longer to allow for swelling.

There was a brief removal and re-implantation before Rolling Loud, according to Inside Edition. That report described the stone as 11 carats, while Revolt reported Uzi had described it as almost 11 carats. The exact weight is therefore not settled by these accounts.
Was the diamond really worth $24 million?
The $24 million figure is a reported claim, not a documented independent valuation in the available coverage. The FADER attributed it to Uzi; Global News reported that Uzi’s friend CEO Slow said the stone cost $24 million. Neither cited an appraisal or other valuation documentation. It is most accurate to call it a diamond Uzi valued at $24 million, or a reportedly $24 million diamond.

Did Uzi get the diamond back?
Yes, according to the reports of Uzi’s account. TMZ and Global News said Uzi recovered the diamond after the Rolling Loud incident. A September 2021 Global News report said Uzi had not put it back in their forehead by that point.

In a Dazed interview published March 4, 2026, Uzi showed the diamond and said it would soon return to their forehead with two anchors they were working on to keep it there. Uzi called it “a piercing!” The interview describes a plan, not a confirmed completed re-implantation.
