The announcement date is distinct from the separation date later reported in connection with court filings. On September 6, 2024, TV Insider reported, citing documents obtained by People, that both filings listed August 1, 2024, as the separation date. That is a reported filing detail, not the date the couple made their decision public.
What they said about family life after the announcement
