Kylie Minogue broke her quiet Perth lead-up on Friday, 14 February 2025, posting a video from inside RAC Arena as preparations continued for the opening night of her Tension Tour. A second Valentine’s Day post appeared to show her dancing from a balcony overlooking the Swan River, which PerthNow identified as Crown Towers. The arena post was direct evidence of her presence at the venue; the balcony location was the publication’s identification.
What Minogue posted from RAC Arena
In the arena clip, Minogue wore an orange safety vest and white hard hat, and pointed toward a sign reading: “Workers above please ensure hard hats are worn at all times”. PerthNow reported that she captioned the post: “The ‘TENSION’ is BUILDING.👷♀️ See you LOVERS Saturday!!!” The video showed stage preparation underway ahead of the tour’s scheduled opening night.
PerthNow also reported a follow-up Valentine’s Day post, captioned “Happy Valentines Lovers” with a heart emoji. The publication described the clip as appearing to have been filmed from a Crown Towers balcony overlooking the Swan River; that location was not independently confirmed in the report. PerthNow’s 14 February account covers both posts.
Why the posts followed reports of no public sighting
A day earlier, PerthNow reported that Minogue had arrived in Perth earlier in the week but had not made a public appearance. The story attributed reports of her leaving Crown Towers for rehearsals at RAC Arena to local observers described as “Kylie-watchers”; it did not establish a confirmed itinerary. The arena video on 14 February then offered a public glimpse of her preparing at the venue. The 13 February report provides that earlier context.
