Yes. Kyle Richards said in April 2024 that she and Mauricio Umansky were taking a break from marriage counseling. She did not say they had ended therapy permanently, and the report does not establish whether they later returned.
What Kyle Richards said about counseling
Richards made the comments during an Amazon Live session on April 1, 2024, with her daughter Alexia. Us Weekly reported the exchange on April 2, quoting Richards as saying, “We’re just taking a break from that.” She also said, “But we get along very well and we’re really good friends.”
In its account, Bravo quoted her saying, “We haven’t been in therapy in a while, to be honest,” before describing the pause. Her wording indicates a break after a period without counseling; it does not give a reason for the pause or describe a permanent decision.
What the reports establish—and what they do not
Us Weekly placed the counseling pause amid Richards and Umansky’s separation. Neither cited account provides a therapist’s perspective or a clinical explanation; the information comes from Richards’s own public remarks.

The April 2024 statement is not proof of their therapy status today. A Dear Media interview page published in 2026 describes the pair as estranged and their relationship as unsettled, but does not say whether they resumed couples therapy. Their later attendance therefore remains unconfirmed in these reports.
