Kristin Cavallari’s Franklin, Tennessee-area estate reportedly sold for $7.5 million in early April 2025. The $8.9 million figure was the reduced asking price—not the reported sale price. TMZ and Us Weekly reported the transaction on April 14, 2025; neither report cited a deed or closing statement.
What did Kristin Cavallari sell her estate for?
TMZ and Us Weekly reported that Cavallari’s estate sold for $7.5 million in early April 2025. TMZ attributed the sale details to sources familiar with the transaction, while Us Weekly also reported the $7.5 million figure. The amount is therefore an outlet-reported sale price, not a figure independently confirmed here through a public deed or closing document. (TMZ; Us Weekly)
The $8.9 million figure refers to the estate’s reduced asking price in January 2025. TMZ described the price around the contract and sale as about $8.99 million; Us Weekly reported $8.9 million. In either account, it was an asking price, not the reported closing figure. (Us Weekly; TMZ)
How did the asking price change?
| Timing | Reported price | What it represents |
|---|---|---|
| June 2024 | $11 million | Initial asking price reported by Us Weekly. |
| August 2024 | $9.95 million | Later listing price reported by Us Weekly. |
| January 2025 | About $8.9 million | Reduced asking price; Us Weekly reported $8.9 million, while TMZ later described it as about $8.99 million. |
| Early April 2025 | $7.5 million | Sale price reported by TMZ and Us Weekly. |
The reported sale price was about $1.4 million below the $8.9 million reduced asking price. Us Weekly reported that Cavallari bought the property in 2020 for about $3 million; TMZ characterized the purchase as just over $3 million. The difference between the reported sale and purchase figures is roughly $4.5 million before renovation expenses, taxes, transaction costs, financing, and other costs. It should not be described as her net profit. (Us Weekly; TMZ)

Where was the property, and what did it include?
The estate was in Franklin, Tennessee, in the Nashville area—not Nashville proper. Us Weekly and TMZ described it as a 28-acre property with four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Their reports also mention features including a barn, guest house, pool, greenhouse, beehives, and a basement described as a wellness retreat. Those are features described in coverage, rather than independently verified details of what was included in the conveyance. (Us Weekly; TMZ)
The outlets differ slightly on the home’s interior area: Us Weekly reported 6,788 square feet, while TMZ reported 6,799 square feet. Neither figure resolves the discrepancy. (Us Weekly; TMZ)
