Kraftwerk’s North American “Multimedia” tour ran from March 6 to April 24, 2025, marking 50 years of the band’s album Autobahn. The concerts were described as combining music, visuals and performance art. The run is over; Kraftwerk’s official archive lists the dates and venues below.
What “Multimedia” meant for the tour
The December 5, 2024 announcement described Kraftwerk’s concerts as blending music, visuals and performance art. It did not provide detailed production specifications, so the term should be understood as that broad description—not as a confirmed list of equipment, effects or stage elements. Pitchfork’s announcement coverage also reported that the preview video showed Tony Hawk and other skateboarders moving around a half-pipe, with Kraftwerk’s music as its soundtrack.
The anniversary at the center of the tour was the 50th anniversary of Autobahn. The announcement quoted a press release describing Kraftwerk concerts as a “Gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art,” bringing music, visuals and performance art together. The quoted statement was attributed to a press release, not to a named individual. Pitchfork, December 5, 2024.
North American tour dates and venues
The dates below follow Kraftwerk’s official 2025 concert archive. The schedule includes U.S. and Canadian stops, with two festival appearances in Indio, California.
