On September 30, 2024, Konami published two preview videos for the Silent Hill 2 remake soundtrack. TechRaptor reported that the videos ran for almost 100 minutes combined and covered 187 tracks—but they contained preview excerpts, not full-length versions of every track. The game launched eight days later, on October 8, 2024.
What the “100 minutes” represented
The figure described the combined runtime of two soundtrack-preview videos, rather than a single 100-minute album or the complete soundtrack. TechRaptor counted 187 tracks across the videos; that count is attributed to the outlet, not presented as an official statistic from Konami. The report characterized the videos as excerpts, so the number of tracks should not be read as 187 complete compositions.

Konami credited Akira Yamaoka as the remake’s composer. The previews offered an early look at the game’s music before release, but the available reporting does not establish that they contained the full versions later included on an album. TechRaptor’s September 30, 2024 report

Where to listen to the soundtrack
The cited reporting establishes that the preview videos were published and gives the soundtrack’s announced November 20, 2024 release date. It does not establish whether the videos remain available now, which music services currently carry the album, or whether availability differs by country. Check the relevant official video channel or music service for current listings in your region rather than assuming a particular platform has it.
