What is “Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem)”?
“Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem)” is a King Promise single. Apple Music dates its listing to 28 September 2026, and MyJoyOnline reported that the song was released in September. Apple Music’s listing identifies it as a King Promise single.
MyJoyOnline reported that the track was intended to feature at Chelsea fixtures throughout the 2026/27 season. That describes the project’s stated plan; it does not establish that the song was played at every match. Chelsea brand director Scott Fenton said King Promise approached the club with the idea, calling it a natural collaboration given the singer’s support for Chelsea.
What is the mini-documentary about?
Chelsea published “Behind the anthem” on 2 October 2026. The official video runs 5 minutes and 50 seconds, and its description points to Nungua, the Rent Paid event, and Chelsea as parts of the song’s story. MyJoyOnline reports that the documentary also shows Stamford Bridge and places in Nungua—including schools and parks—associated with King Promise’s upbringing and his love of football.

The film makes the collaboration more personal than a conventional club tie-in: it links King Promise’s childhood support for Chelsea in Ghana with the culture of the club’s African fans. In MyJoyOnline’s account, Fenton said the project was about celebrating those fans and the culture around Chelsea, and what the club can mean beyond match time.
How Nungua and the Rent Paid event fit in
MyJoyOnline reports that the music video was directed by Derrick Arthur and filmed at the Rent Paid Football Exhibition Tournament and Nungua SDA Park in Accra. The tournament also served as the African launch of Chelsea’s new home kit, making the event both a football gathering and a setting for the club’s connection with supporters in Ghana.

King Promise described returning to Nungua SDA Park as important because that was where his love of football began, playing with friends and connecting with the community through football games. Chelsea’s 3 October 2026 “Spotted at the Bridge” feature also presents him as a lifelong supporter who brought the new track to Stamford Bridge.
