True Thompson is interested in skincare, but Khloé Kardashian describes a small, age-appropriate mix of products—not an elaborate beauty routine. In a January 2026 interview, Kardashian said her seven-and-a-half-year-old likes sunscreen or lotion, cucumber-water face mist and small lip oils. She also says she talks about sunscreen as protection, not something anyone needs to look beautiful.
What skincare products does True Thompson use?
Kardashian named product types, not brands. In her January 15, 2026, Who What Wear interview, she said True likes sunscreen or lotion, cucumber-water face mist and small lip oils. The interview does not identify specific products or establish that True follows a regular adult-style skincare routine.
“I try not to make beauty a huge thing with my daughter because she’s 7 and a half. She loves skincare products, but that is sunscreen or a lotion. She loves face mist, which is cucumber water. She loves that, and she feels like that’s everything in the world. Those are fine, but I don’t want her to have any obsession or to think that we need these things to be beautiful.”
How Kardashian frames skincare for her daughter
Kardashian’s emphasis is on keeping the interest simple and separating skincare from appearance. She described sunscreen as a way to protect the skin: “We wear sunscreen to protect ourselves,” she told Who What Wear. Her comments do not suggest that True needs skincare to be beautiful or that she uses anti-aging products.

What dermatologists recommend for tweens
The American Academy of Dermatology’s October 28, 2025 guidance on skincare for children and tweens recommends a basic routine:
- A gentle cleanser.
- A fragrance-free moisturizer.
- Daily broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
The AAD cautions against unnecessary adult-targeted ingredients such as retinol, vitamin C and exfoliating acids for young skin, which may become irritated. For a particular skin concern, a dermatologist can advise what is appropriate. Marisa Garshick, MD, FAAD, quoted by the AAD, says: “I try to emphasize to my own children that skincare doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective, and just because something looks fun to use or is expensive, doesn’t mean it is good or better for your skin.”

Why Khloé Kardashian’s older product list is not True’s routine
A July 17, 2019 Vogue Beauty Secrets feature showed Kardashian doing her own skincare and makeup while one-year-old True was present. Vogue named products in Kardashian’s routine, including Quinn’s Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Rose Petal and Aloe Vera Natural Toner, EltaMD UV Clear sunscreen, Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream moisturizer and Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick. Those historical details describe Khloé’s products, not products used by her daughter.
