KFC Canada announced a limited-time menu collaboration with chef Matty Matheson on January 19, 2026. The launch included sliders, a sandwich, poutine and a feast, plus weekly secret items for KFC app users. Whether any of the collaboration items are still available is unconfirmed.
What was on the KFC Matty Matheson menu?
KFC Canada described the menu as a nationwide limited-time launch at participating restaurants and through its app. The announcement named four main items and promised weekly app-exclusive secret menu drops.
| Item | What KFC described | Announcement-era price |
|---|---|---|
| Matty Melt Sliders | KFC Original Recipe tenders with creamy cheese sauce, caramelized onions and mayonnaise on sesame slider buns. | Two for $6 at the January 19, 2026 launch. |
| Matty Melt Sandwich | A chicken fillet with cheese sauce and caramelized onions. | Not stated in the January 19, 2026 announcement. |
| Matty Mega Melt Poutine | Fries, cheese curds and gravy topped with popcorn chicken and seasoned cheese sauce. | $10 at the January 19, 2026 launch. |
| Matty Mega Feast | Named as a menu option; the announcement did not provide a full item breakdown. | Not stated in the January 19, 2026 announcement. |
The announcement also promised weekly Matty-approved secret items exclusive to the KFC app, but did not provide a complete list. Its quoted description from Matheson was: “This menu combines my KFC favourites cranked all the way up and I’m stoked that I get to share it with everyone.”
When did the collaboration launch?
KFC Canada said the menu launched nationwide on January 19, 2026, for a limited time at participating locations and through the KFC app. The announcement framed the collaboration as Matheson’s indulgent style paired with KFC chicken. KFC Canada senior marketing manager Jordan Sequeira said, “Matty is a Canadian culinary icon, so partnering with him for KFC Canada just felt right.”

Is the Matty Matheson KFC menu still available?
Current availability is not established. KFC’s announcement called the promotion limited time, and its current menu page does not list the collaboration. That menu page is not a notice of the promotion’s end date and does not confirm whether an individual restaurant still has any item. The January launch prices are historical announcement prices, not verified current prices.
For a location-specific answer, check the KFC Canada app or contact a participating restaurant directly; the available information does not confirm availability as of October 8, 2026.
