Kelly Osbourne shared video of the proposal on Instagram. ABC News reported that Wilson began, “You know I love you more than anything in the world,” then asked her to marry him in front of their family and friends. Osbourne’s caption read, “Oh and this happened yesterday!”
Ozzy Osbourne interrupted with, “F— off, you’re not marrying my daughter.” The room laughed, and Wilson continued. In the context of the clip, it was a joking family moment, not evidence that Ozzy opposed the engagement. Osbourne later captioned another post, “I think this picture says it all!” ABC News transcribed the proposal and reported the captions.

How long had the couple known each other?
The Los Angeles Times reported that Osbourne and Wilson had known each other for more than 20 years, after meeting when Slipknot appeared at the Osbourne family’s Ozzfest tour. They began dating in 2022 and had a son, Sidney, in November that year.
