People en Español informó el 30 de octubre de 2023 que Karol G estaba de vacaciones en Hawái tras una exitosa etapa estadounidense de su gira Mañana será bonito. Según el medio, publicó fotos y videos con amigos en escenas que incluían un yate, la playa y paseos en buggy. La publicación llevaba el texto “¡Qué chimba la vida!”, según la cita reproducida por el artículo.
El reporte describió un bikini colorido y un traje de baño negro entre las imágenes. El Universo, en una nota del 2 de noviembre de 2023 sobre la publicación vacacional de Instagram, también mencionó bikinis de distintos colores, incluido el negro.
