The cancellation was reported shortly after Nicole Kidman filed for divorce, but the available reports do not connect the two events.
Why Keith Urban canceled the Greenville concert
Bon Secours Wellness Arena said Urban’s laryngitis began earlier in the week and that his longtime laryngologist, Dr. Gaelyn Garrett of the Vanderbilt Voice Center, advised him to cancel and take complete vocal rest. The venue’s statement, quoted by The Independent, said Dr. Garrett was optimistic Urban would return for his Nashville show. That was an expectation reported at the time, not confirmation that the performance took place.

Urban apologized to Greenville fans in a statement reported by FOX Carolina, acknowledging the logistics involved in attending a concert and saying he hoped to return when possible.
How the cancellation relates to Nicole Kidman’s divorce filing
The Independent reported that Kidman filed for divorce on September 30, 2025. That filing preceded the cancellation report, but neither report says it caused Urban’s laryngitis or the concert cancellation. The documented reason for canceling was the illness and the medical advice to rest his voice.

Concert date and ticket refund guidance
The canceled Greenville date was Thursday, October 16, 2025, on Urban’s High and Alive World Tour. In contemporaneous coverage, Ticketmaster purchasers were told refunds would be automatic, while people who bought through third-party resellers were directed to contact their point of purchase. That was guidance issued at the time; it does not establish the status of any individual refund today.
