What was said about DNA testing?
In October 2009, Reeves’s attorney told TMZ that DNA testing disproved Sala’s claim. At the January 2010 hearing, reports say Sala challenged the test result. That account is an attorney’s statement relayed by news outlets, not an independently reviewed laboratory report.
CityNews reported that Reeves’s lawyer argued Sala’s former husband was identified as the children’s father in divorce documents. According to the same report, the lawyer said Sala declined to seek testing of her former husband and did not produce the children’s birth certificates. How did the case end?
CityNews reported that Judge Fred Graham dismissed the suit in January 2010. The outlet quoted him describing the allegations as “so incredible” that no reasonable judge would accept them, and saying a trial would be “a waste of limited judicial resources.” Those remarks are reported quotations from CityNews, not a quotation independently checked against a judgment or transcript.
