Which earrings did Catherine wear at Sandringham?
The earrings are Robinson Pelham’s Daystar Blue Topaz Earrings, worn during the royal family’s Christmas Day walk to church at Sandringham on 25 December 2024. Vanity Fair identified the maker and gemstone; Tatler named the specific model. They were not a newly announced 2026 purchase.
Robinson Pelham’s product listing describes the pair as “Daystar earrings set with blue topaz, 10.11ct and diamonds, 1.20ct in 14ct yellow gold.” The earrings measure 15 mm by 24 mm. Coverage describes shield-shaped blue topaz stones framed by diamond spokes in claw settings. Robinson Pelham’s product listing showed the item as sold out when accessed on 8 October 2026.
What is the connection to her family?
The family story lies in the earrings’ maker, not in a confirmed message encoded in the Daystar design. Vanity Fair reported in 2011 that Catherine’s parents gave her custom Robinson Pelham earrings for her wedding. Those earlier earrings featured acorn motifs inspired by the Middleton family crest and were designed to complement her wedding tiara. The shared jeweller creates a real connection between the two pairs, but coverage does not establish that the blue-topaz earrings repeat the acorn symbolism or carry a specific family meaning.

Who gave her the blue-topaz earrings?
That has not been confirmed. Tatler suggested Prince William or Catherine’s parents as possibilities, but those were speculative suggestions, not established facts. There is no confirmed account of the giver or of Catherine’s private intention in choosing or wearing this pair.

Vanity Fair reported a price of $7,584 in 2025, which explains the rounded $7,500 figure in headlines. The maker’s product page displayed £7,385 on 8 October 2026 and marked the earrings sold out. These are separate price snapshots in different currencies; the later listing does not show what Catherine paid.
