Beauty creator Karen Sarahi Gonzalez, known as @iluvsarahii, married Sebastian Robles on June 17, 2023, at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, California. Their garden-inspired celebration paired an open-air field ceremony and white florals with greenery, champagne-and-ivory details, and a music-filled reception.

Gonzalez and Robles married on June 17, 2023, at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, California. Wedport reported that 250 guests attended. The couple chose the venue for its lush, open setting, which suited the garden aesthetic they wanted for both the ceremony and reception.
What did the garden wedding look like?
Outdoor ceremony
The ceremony took place in a field. White roses and delphinium lined the aisle, leading to a double floral arch. Gonzalez walked in with her father; the couple chose not to have a first look and exchanged personal vows. Violinist and vocalist Leah Zeger performed for their recessional.

Reception design
The reception carried the ivory, champagne, white-flower, and greenery palette into the tablescape. Hanging greenery, white blooms, and gold wind chimes decorated the space. Tables combined low floral arrangements and candles with taller centerpieces, while gold-rimmed chargers and gold flatware added metallic accents at each place setting.

Karen’s ceremony and reception looks
For the ceremony, Gonzalez wore Galia Lahav’s fitted “Maya” gown, featuring floral appliqués, a corset bodice, semi-sheer detailing, detachable sleeves, and a cathedral-length veil. She changed into the beaded mermaid-style “Estelle” gown for the reception, described in the feature as having fringe and floral details. The report identifies her ceremony shoes as Aquazzura and her reception shoes as Rene Caovilla.

What happened at the reception?
Music shaped the evening. Mariachi Espuelas De Jalisco performed during cocktail hour, and the newlyweds entered to “La Bota” by Mi Banda El Mexicano. They danced to “Te Quiero Tanto, Tanto” by OV7, after which Banda Machos played. DJ Jaime DaGreat later played reggaeton. Food included a pizza station and late-night tacos.
How did the couple meet?
Wedport’s account says Gonzalez and Robles met in September 2009 at a mutual friend’s 21st-birthday party. They were traveling by party bus from Temecula to San Diego, and later connected through MySpace and Facebook. The proposal took place in a Japanese bamboo garden: Robles arranged what Gonzalez believed would be a picnic with friends.
