Press reports put the budget for a film project involving Kanye West (Ye) and Bianca Censori at $25 million, but the figure has not been independently confirmed in the coverage reviewed. West reportedly announced Censori’s film debut, named Vanessa Beecroft as director and himself as producer, and the project had a Los Angeles premiere in February 2025. A premiere does not establish that the film received a public release.
Was the film really given a $25 million budget?
The $25 million figure is reported hearsay, not a verified production budget. Sky TG24 and Fanpage say press reports put the amount at that level, but their coverage does not cite a budget document, identify a production executive confirming it, or point to another primary record. It is therefore more accurate to call it an alleged or reported budget than a confirmed cost.
That distinction matters: the figure may describe a reported production budget, but the reviewed coverage does not establish what it includes or whether it was accurate. No independently confirmed budget is available in those reports. Sky TG24’s February 2025 report and Fanpage’s report describe the amount as something attributed to press coverage, rather than presenting primary budget evidence.
What is known about the project?
West reportedly announced on Instagram that Censori had acted in her first film, shot in Japan, directed by Vanessa Beecroft and produced by him. Sky TG24 reproduced his statement in Italian translation: “Sono così orgoglioso che mia moglie abbia recitato nel suo primo film, girato in Giappone con la regia di Vanessa Beecroft e prodotto da me” (“I’m so proud that my wife acted in her first film, shot in Japan, directed by Vanessa Beecroft and produced by me”). Sky TG24 reported the announcement and premiere.

Press coverage described the project as a fashion film built around Censori, with vignettes and montages reflecting West’s perspective. Some scene descriptions came through unnamed sources, not an official synopsis. HOT 97, citing a source close to West, described it as “a fashion-driven film, a glimpse into Kanye’s vision of Bianca”; that characterization is not an on-the-record statement from West or a named production representative. HOT 97’s report also said filming took place in Japan, Italy and Spain, based on its unnamed source. West’s reported announcement specifically mentioned Japan.
Did the film premiere, and can you watch it?
Sky TG24 and Fanpage reported a Los Angeles premiere at a warehouse on February 23, 2025. That establishes a reported premiere event, not a general theatrical release, streaming launch or public viewing option.

The reviewed reports do not confirm whether the film later became publicly available or identify a current place to watch it. Their publication dates are in February 2025, so any release plans or status reported at that time should not be treated as current without newer confirmation. The available evidence does not establish that no release exists; it simply does not verify one.
