October 2022: They announce their first pregnancy

August 2023: Pelphrey recalls a family introduction
Pelphrey recounted that when Cuoco first met his family, his mother’s partner called her “Penny,” the name of her character on The Big Bang Theory. Pelphrey said he did not initially understand the reference and recalled asking Cuoco, “Why does he keep calling you Penny?” The anecdote was relayed in Cosmopolitan’s chronology.

August 2024: They announce their engagement
Cuoco announced that she and Pelphrey were engaged after he proposed the preceding weekend. The Los Angeles Times reported the announcement and noted that Cuoco had said in an April 2022 interview, “I will never get married again.” Her later engagement announcement marked a change from that earlier expression of how she felt about marriage at the time. The sources cited here establish an engagement, not a wedding.
February 2026: Cuoco describes their sleep arrangements
In a podcast interview summarized by Cosmopolitan, Cuoco said she and Pelphrey sleep in separate bedrooms because of differing schedules and parenting routines. It was her description of their household arrangement, not advice for other couples.

June–September 2026: They share news of a second daughter
Cuoco announced that she and Pelphrey were expecting a second daughter. Pelphrey also referred to Cuoco as pregnant during his September 2026 Emmy speech, as reported by LOS40. Cosmopolitan’s September 14, 2026 chronology also reported the pregnancy. These reports establish that they were expecting a second daughter, not that the baby had been born.
