Justin Bieber returned to the bowling alley associated with his 2010 “Baby” music video on Dec. 11, 2025, and sang parts of the song a cappella with friends. The informal reunion turned the video’s location into a setting for a brief, impromptu performance.
What happened at the “Baby” video location?
Billboard reported that Bieber shared a video carousel on his official Instagram on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025. In the clips, he sings the chorus and second verse of “Baby” without instrumental accompaniment. Friends join in with stomps, claps, beatboxing and attempted harmonies. The Independent also described him singing as someone off camera beatboxed.
Bieber captioned the post: “Went to where I shot my music video for [‘Baby’],” followed by “This is what happened.” Billboard added the bracketed song title to clarify the reference.
Where was the music video filmed?
The return was to the bowling alley used for the “Baby” video. iHeartRadio identifies the venue as Lucky Strike Lanes in Los Angeles, while Parade describes it as the bowling alley at Universal CityWalk and Lucky Strike Lanes. Those venue details come from secondary reports; the safest description is the bowling alley associated with the video.

Why is the return a 15-year callback?
“Baby” was released in 2010 and was the lead song on Bieber’s album My World 2.0, according to The Independent. His December 2025 visit came about 15 years after the song’s release and video era, bringing him back to a recognizable location from that period.
How many views has “Baby” received?
Billboard reported more than 3.4 billion YouTube views for “Baby” in its Dec. 11, 2025 article. That is a dated figure from Billboard, not a live count; the number may have changed since publication.
