The clip should be treated as an unverified rumor, not proof of a relationship.
What does the video show—and is the man Jungkook?
A November 11, 2025 report by The Express Tribune described a clip circulating online that users believed showed Jungkook entering a building with a woman. That report did not independently verify the man’s identity. The footage, as described there, does not establish who either person is or what their relationship may be.

The report said neither HYBE nor SM Entertainment had commented on that specific clip as of its publication. That is a time-bounded account; it does not establish whether either company made a statement later.
Is Jungkook dating the woman?
No relationship was confirmed in the reporting about the 2025 clip. Online speculation is not confirmation, and the woman’s identity should not be inferred from the footage. Without reliable confirmation, it is more accurate to describe this as a dating rumor than to say Jungkook is dating the woman.

How this differs from the 2019 dating rumor
The 2025 clip is separate from an earlier incident involving CCTV footage from Geoje Island. In September 2019, Big Hit Entertainment denied a dating rumor about Jungkook, saying he had met acquaintances, eaten with them and gone to a karaoke room. The agency said the rumor distorted those events. Yonhap reported the denial, including the agency’s statement: “Big Hit clearly declares that the online claim involving our artist Jungkook that is currently circulating on SNS and online communities is not the truth.”
In its statement about that 2019 incident, the agency also said it would investigate whether CCTV footage had been leaked or filming had been illegal, and pursue action over disclosure of personal information and invasion of privacy. Soompi reproduced the statement: “We will figure out whether CCTV footage was leaked or if there was illegal filming and take strong legal action against the disclosure of personal information and invasion of privacy.” That response concerned the 2019 CCTV rumor; it is not a statement about the 2025 video.
What has BIGHIT MUSIC said about artist privacy?
BIGHIT MUSIC’s later general notices ask fans to respect BTS artists’ privacy and safety and describe legal responses to malicious posts, unfounded rumors and privacy violations. The notices provide context for the company’s broader approach, but they do not confirm or deny who appears in the 2025 clip.
- BIGHIT MUSIC’s September 29 notice on legal proceedings addresses violations of artist rights and privacy.
- BIGHIT MUSIC’s March 26, 2026 update describes further legal proceedings concerning violations of artist rights.
Why privacy matters when footage is unverified
A clip shared online can invite confident claims while leaving basic facts unresolved: who is shown, when or where it was recorded, and whether it has been presented in context. Reposting an unverified identity or trying to identify the woman can amplify speculation and intrude on private individuals. The responsible distinction is straightforward: the video was reported as circulating, but the reporting did not authenticate the man or confirm a relationship.
