What is Bree Cameron like outside the hospital?
Godwin also described Bree as a surfer who loves the ocean. In a 2023 interview, she said she enjoyed filming surfing scenes and characterized Home and Away as a fast-paced production. She said the team could film up to 12 scenes in a day; that number is her account of the production pace, not an independently verified statistic. 7NEWS’s interview reports her comments.
How did Godwin prepare for Bree’s domestic-violence storyline?
In a 2023 interview with 7Life, Godwin said she prepared by speaking with the show’s writers and White Ribbon Australia, and by listening to victim-survivors and psychologists. She said she wanted her performance to be as true as possible and to resonate with women who had suffered. These are Godwin’s comments about preparing for a fictional storyline, not guidance about domestic violence. Read the 7Life interview.
