When did Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 come out?
The Japanese broadcast began Thursday, January 8, 2026, on the MBS/TBS 28-station network. The official schedule set the regular broadcast time at 12:26 a.m. JST each Thursday, and the season opened with episodes 1 and 2 together in a one-hour special. Since that premiere date has passed, check your local service listing for the current catalog rather than relying on an old release schedule.

Where can you watch The Culling Game Part 1?
Crunchyroll announced a January 8, 2026 streaming premiere at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time, followed by weekly Thursday episodes at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time beginning January 15. Its announcement covered territories across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, India, and Southeast Asia. That announcement establishes the planned rollout, not current availability in every country: licensing and catalogs vary, so search for Jujutsu Kaisen in the service available where you live.
Crunchyroll did not establish in that announcement which subtitle or dub languages would be available in each market. Check the episode listing in your region for current audio and subtitle options.

What does the new trailer show?
The official site announced a Season 3 teaser PV on August 31, 2025, and a further PV on December 20, 2025. The later trailer description points to the Culling Game’s combatants and foregrounds the conflict between Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu. It also highlights Kinji Hakari, Kirara Hoshi, Choso, Naoya Zenin, Hana Kurusu, Hiromi Higuruma, and Fumihiko Takaba.
Calling the trailer “unsettling” is an interpretation, not the official site’s description. The official announcement identifies story and character material; viewers can judge the mood from the footage itself.

What is The Culling Game Part 1?
The season adapts the Culling Game arc from Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga. The official trailer announcement presents a story of competing combatants and a mounting clash involving Yuji and Yuta. The sources establishing the release do not give a verified volume-to-episode mapping, so a precise manga volume number should not be inferred from the season title alone.
