Spoilers for Chapter 23. Yuji proposes extending the harmonization effort to cursed spirits and asks Maru to investigate why Rumelians mistake curses for Kalyans. That is a proposed next step—not evidence that cursed spirits are ended in this chapter. The chapter, titled “Ritual of Harmony,” was released in Japan on July 11, 2026.
What happens in Chapter 23?
In the available chapter summary, Yuji reasons that souls may share a pathway and suggests broadening the attempt at harmonization to include cursed spirits. He asks Maru to look into why Rumelians mistake curses for Kalyans. The summary presents an investigation and a proposal, not a completed resolution or the eradication of curses.

The plot account comes from a fan-maintained summary; the official Shonen Jump+ listing confirms the chapter’s title, date, creators, and series description, but does not provide the chapter’s panels or dialogue in its available page information. Accordingly, specific dialogue or additional scene-by-scene claims are not established here. Read the official Chapter 23 listing on Shonen Jump+. See the secondary chapter summary.
Why is it called “Ritual of Harmony”?
Chapter 23’s Japanese title is 「調和の儀」, rendered here as “Ritual of Harmony.” The title fits the chapter summary’s focus on Yuji’s proposal to expand harmonization beyond its current scope. It does not, by itself, confirm that the effort succeeds.
