The reported production featured a seven-piece live band, according to the Florida Theatre event page. The sources describe Fatone and McLean as the performers; they do not describe the concert as a full *NSYNC or Backstreet Boys reunion.

A Live Nation featured setlist dated March 29, 2024, shows the range of material associated with the show. It includes songs from both groups alongside covers and solo songs. A featured setlist records one performance; it is not a guarantee that every date used the same songs.

Fatone also discussed performing “She’s Like the Wind” in the Chicago Sun-Times interview. For an *NSYNC album reference, Ticketmaster’s *NSYNC artist page identifies No Strings Attached.
How did the concert involve the audience?
In the Chicago Sun-Times account, a giant inflatable die thrown into the crowd helped choose a song: the number facing the stage corresponded to an option on a list. Fans were also invited up to sit on a couch while Fatone and McLean performed. Those are reported elements of the 2024 show, not a promise that every performance used the same interaction.

The artists’ comments help explain the pairing. McLean said, “Joey and I are very much two peas in a pod,” describing them as “girl dads,” free-spirited and “hams,” and adding that their connection translated onstage. Fatone framed the concert as a thank-you to both audiences: “This is a [way] to say, ‘Hey, thanks for being both of our fans from Backstreet and *NSYNC for all these years.” The bracketed word is part of the newspaper transcript.
Fatone also said he had been “really hands-on with doing all of this stuff,” reflecting his interest in production and touring. McLean joked about teaching him the “As Long As You Love Me” chair dance. These remarks, like the comments above, appeared in the May 30, 2024 report.

Was there a VIP package?
The Florida Theatre’s historical event page listed a VIP package for its A Legendary Night date. It included a ticket, a pre-show soundcheck experience with a performance and audience questions, stories about boy-band experiences, an autographed tour poster, a commemorative laminate and lanyard, priority entry, and priority merchandise access. These are details of that past event’s package, not evidence of a current offer.
When did the tour play, and are more joint dates scheduled?
The Chicago Sun-Times report said the tour launched in March 2024 and added dates after its success. Its caption identifies a June 1, 2024 performance at Chicago’s Salt Shed. The event listing gave an 8 p.m. start and tickets at $54.50 and up; both the date and price are historical, not a current ticket offer.

Live Nation listings checked on October 8, 2026, showed no upcoming Joey Fatone shows and included an A Legendary Night performance dated February 21, 2026. AJ McLean’s listing showed upcoming solo performances, while its A Legendary Night setlist was dated March 29, 2024. The listings reviewed do not establish another joint date after February 21, 2026. The Chicago Sun-Times report quoted McLean saying he hoped *NSYNC would “do something” after seeing the group reunite with Justin Timberlake at the Wiltern. That was his comment in 2024; it does not establish a later reunion plan. The same article linked McLean’s solo song “Arizona” to his group-therapy experience. That is his personal account, not a basis for broader claims about his health.
