In the sneak peek for NCIS Season 22, Episode 14, “Close to Home,” Jimmy Palmer questions his daughter Victoria about a bag of money she found. Jessica Knight steps in when the conversation becomes too intense, turning a case interview into a tense father-daughter moment.
What happens in the sneak peek?
Victoria finds a bag of money near a naval library and shares information that draws NCIS into an investigation. In the preview scene, Jimmy questions her about what she knows. His professional instinct to press a source clashes with his role as her father, and Jessica intervenes as the exchange grows uncomfortable.
The scene establishes that tension, but it does not reveal the full interview or how the episode resolves it.
How does Victoria’s discovery connect to the case?
The reported episode setup links the money to a bank robber who has been active for years. Victoria first contacts Nick Torres, and the information she provides helps set the investigation in motion. Jimmy takes a leading role in the case and goes undercover, according to the preview material.
