What kind of show was Laughs Funny?
Bohm Presents described the material as fast-paced and edgy, and characterized it as a new show. The promoter also cautioned that Carr’s dark comedy would not suit everyone, writing: “Some people are repelled by Jimmy’s dark brand of comedy. This show is not for them.” These are the promoter’s descriptions, not an independent review of the performances.

How the tour fits Carr’s recent work
The announcement followed Carr’s 2024 Netflix special Natural Born Killer and his hosting of Last One Laughing on Amazon Prime. Those projects provide context for the comedian’s recent work; they do not describe the format or distribution of Laughs Funny.
Bohm Presents said Carr’s previous Terribly Funny tour was seen by over 1.2 million people across 45 countries, adding “as far as we know.” This is the promoter’s 2025 claim and was not independently audited.
