Schram told PEOPLE, “We were looking for a venue that felt unique and out of the ordinary.” The couple found an antique shop that also operated as a furniture salvage warehouse. The report describes the space as 60,000 square feet.
The setting gave the wedding a distinctive backdrop: instead of a conventional ballroom, guests gathered among architectural and furniture salvage. The ceremony brought together 113 guests, with Schram and Taylor exchanging traditional vows as well as personal ones. Actor and friend Oded Fehr officiated.

What did the Chicago wedding celebration include?
A city-centered rehearsal gathering
The festivities included a rehearsal dinner featuring Chicago pizza, followed by a sunset cruise along the river. These choices tied the celebration to the city where the couple married.
Urban-wildflower reception decor
The reception’s “urban wildflower” styling combined peach, orange and ivory floral touches with handmade disco balls, chandeliers and fairy lights. Thistle & Plume provided the flowers, and Blue Moon Events planned the wedding. Schram wore a gown by Dana Harel.

Food and personal details
Boka Catering prepared a menu reflecting the couple’s Midwestern, Texan and Californian backgrounds. The report also mentions sunflower-themed cocktails, late-night Chicago-style hot dogs and deep-dish pizza, and a custom gluten-free chocolate cake from Bittersweet Pastry. One small personal touch was an artisan ice cube containing a portrait of the couple’s cat, Pirate.
