Australian model Jessica Hart announced the arrival of her second child with James Kirkham in February 2022. Her first child, Baby-Rae, was born in December 2020; Hart had said she expected Baby-Rae to be 14 months old when the new baby arrived.
What Hart announced
PerthNow reported on 9 February 2022 that Hart had announced the arrival of her second child. The outlet reproduced her Instagram caption: “And just like that, this big girl is a big sister .. 💙”
The original report described the baby as a boy based on the blue heart emoji. A later PerthNow follow-up identified the child as a boy named Glorious and reported that he was born in February 2022.
Why the headline says “14 months”
The figure was Hart’s expected age for Baby-Rae when the second baby arrived, not the interval between Baby-Rae’s birth and Hart’s announcement. PerthNow reported that Baby-Rae was born in December 2020 and quoted Hart’s earlier pregnancy announcement: “Now, after the initial shock of having two babies under 2 — Baby will be 14 months when baby No. 2 arrives. James and I are really excited now, but it’s a big thing.”
