A casual Los Angeles outing
Garner kept the look relaxed for the walk, wearing blue jeans, a blue, yellow and green striped sweater, and white sneakers. Miller wore jeans with brown boots, a light-blue button-up shirt, and a denim jacket featuring fur-like trim.
The photographs were credited to BACKGRID. The images show the couple walking together and talking, but the report did not describe the outing as a public display of affection or attach any announcement to it.
Garner and Miller’s relationship timeline
PEOPLE reported that Garner and Miller first connected in 2018. Coverage later indicated that they appeared to have split by 2020 before resurfacing together the following year. Subsequent reporting placed their reconciliation in 2021.

Miller is identified as the chairman and CEO of Cali Group. He has two children with his former wife, violinist Caroline Campbell. Garner has three children with her former husband, Ben Affleck: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
No engagement announcement
The April 2024 photographs should not be read as confirmation of an engagement or wedding plans. In a March 2021 interview cited by PEOPLE, Garner said she was “so far from” considering marriage at that point. Neither the stroll nor the accompanying report established a change in that position.

Likewise, the report did not establish that Garner and Miller live together or provide a new public statement from either of them about their relationship. What it documented was a low-key walk and conversation in Los Angeles.
