In March 2024, Jelly Roll said he was replacing veneers he had worn for 20 years and undergoing other dental work. He described the visit casually as “mouth reconstructive surgery”; the reports did not include a dentist’s treatment plan or clinical details.
What dental work did Jelly Roll say he was getting?
In a video shared by his wife, Bunnie XO, Jelly Roll said, “I’ve had these same veneers for 20 years,” and said he was finally getting them replaced. Fox News reported that he also mentioned implants, treatment for cavities, and having his wisdom teeth pulled. Fox News reported on the video and procedures on March 14, 2024.
Country Now’s March 12, 2024, account also described the veneer replacement, implants, cavity treatment, and wisdom-tooth removal. The reports use phrases such as “getting all my teeth redone” and “mouth reconstructive surgery,” but do not establish a detailed clinical plan. Country Now’s account corroborated the procedure list.
Why did Jelly Roll want a new smile?
In remarks from the video, Jelly Roll said, “I want a pretty smile.” He also recalled having an “ugly smile” as a child and being picked on. Billboard’s report, republished by Yahoo Entertainment, attributed those comments to him; they describe his stated personal motivation, not a reason given by a dental professional.
