Spoilers through Arcane season 2, episode 4. “Kid Jinx” is Isha, a child who meets Jinx in season 2 and becomes her close companion. The show presents their bond as protective and family-like, but does not identify Isha as Jinx’s biological sister or adopted child. Jinx’s sister is Vi, who was called Powder as a child.
Who is “Kid Jinx” in Arcane?
“Kid Jinx” is the name used for Isha, a new character introduced in season 2, episode 2, “Watch it all Burn.” Isha encounters Jinx and continues to help her, including staying by her and stepping in when Jinx is in danger. ONE Esports’ account of Isha’s introduction and role describes their relationship developing into a family alongside Vander.
ComingSoon reports that Isha is an orphan from Zaun and notes that her name appears in the credits, while also stressing that much of her background remains unknown. That orphan description is entertainment reporting, not a detailed official biography. ComingSoon’s explanation of “Kid Jinx”
How is Isha related to Jinx?
Isha is Jinx’s friend and young companion. Their connection can reasonably be described as chosen-family-like or as a big-sister-and-younger-sibling dynamic, but the episodes do not establish a formal family relationship. Jinx does not say she adopts Isha, and Isha is not identified as Jinx’s biological sister.

In episode 4, Jinx tells Isha that she used to be called Powder and that Isha “kind of remind[s] me of her,” meaning her own younger self. Later, Jinx reflects on Vi’s childhood relationship with Powder: “Maybe that’s what I was like for you.” She calls Isha “A friend.” Those lines ground the sister-like interpretation in Jinx’s care for Isha while keeping the stated relationship clear. The sisters’ relationship is strained, but their conflict does not change their kinship. In episode 3, Vi says, “My sister is gone. There’s only Jinx now,” expressing how she sees Jinx’s changed identity rather than denying that they are sisters. Episode 3 transcript

Isha’s full history is not laid out in the episodes covered here. The available character coverage describes much of her background as unknown, so claims beyond her introduction, her connection with Jinx, and the reported orphan detail should be treated cautiously. The clearest distinction is that Isha is Jinx’s close friend and chosen-family figure, while Vi is explicitly her sister.
