Ready Steady Cut reviewer Lori Meek gives the film 2.5/5, praising its premise, cast, and effects while criticizing its predictable plot and final act. Taken together, the listed reviews suggest the setting and disaster scenario may be more appealing than the execution for viewers who want fresh plotting or consistently propulsive pacing.
