Nautilus season 2 has not been confirmed or cancelled in the sources available here. A November 2025 report described All3Media ending its relationship with the series’ producer, Seven Stories, but said the Nautilus intellectual property remained with All3Media. That company change is not evidence by itself that the series has been shut down.
Will Nautilus get a season 2?
There is no confirmed season 2 in the sources available here, and they do not establish a cancellation either. AMC’s announcements confirm one 10-episode season; they do not announce a second-season order.
AMC announced the series in 2023 as a live-action origin story for Captain Nemo, inspired by Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Its announcement also credited Moonriver TV’s Xavier Marchand and Seven Stories’ Anand Tucker as developers and producers. AMC’s series announcement establishes the premise and original production credits, not a season-two commitment.
Did the reported studio change cancel the series?
No such conclusion is supported by the report. On November 9, 2025, Deadline reported that All3Media was ending its relationship with Seven Stories following a strategic review, while Seven Stories’ intellectual property—including Nautilus—would remain with All3Media. The report concerns a relationship between companies and the stated disposition of the IP; it does not say All3Media shut down, that production was halted, or that the series was cancelled. Deadline’s report, surfaced through IMDb News, is secondary coverage rather than an official AMC status announcement.

What happened to season 1?
AMC announced a 10-episode U.S. run, beginning June 29, 2025, on AMC and AMC+, with weekly episodes and a two-episode finale on August 17, 2025. Those are the announced dates for the completed 2025 run, not a guarantee of present-day availability in any particular region. AMC’s premiere announcement gives the schedule.
Does the premiere audience make renewal more likely?
AMC said the premiere drew 2.6 million linear television viewers in Nielsen live+3 ratings, according to its July 8, 2025 announcement. That is a reported audience figure, not a renewal announcement or proof of what AMC will decide. AMC’s audience announcement does not state that season 2 was ordered.

What to watch for next
A reliable status change would need to come from an official announcement by AMC, Disney Entertainment, or the rights holder. Until then, the careful answer is that a second season remains unconfirmed in the sources available here—not that the reported Seven Stories change has cancelled it.
