Does Marjan return in Season 5?
Yes. Marjan remains part of the Season 5 story. She competes with Paul for a lieutenant position, then steps aside after deciding he is better suited to the role. Karam described the choice as Marjan recognizing her own strengths and limitations in TV Insider’s October 7, 2024 recap.

What happens to Marjan by the series finale?
Finale coverage describes Marjan as happy and expecting her first child. In a January 21, 2025 interview, Karam called her “happy” and “a long way away from Season 1 Marjan,” as TV Insider reported. TV Guide’s February 3, 2025 finale coverage also reported that Marjan is expecting her first child. These finale developments confirm that her Season 4 resignation was not a permanent exit from the series; they do not establish whether Karam will appear in any future franchise project.
