No. HUNTR/X is the fictional K-pop girl group in Netflix’s animated film KPop Demon Hunters. The songs are performed by real artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. The film also has separate English-speaking voice actors for the group’s characters.
Who sings for HUNTR/X?
Netflix’s soundtrack guide credits EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI on HUNTR/X songs. Netflix’s oral history of “Golden” also identifies EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami as the singing voices behind the group.
- EJAE sings for Rumi.
- Audrey Nuna sings for Mira.
- Rei Ami sings for Zoey.
The distinction matters because the characters’ voices in dialogue and their singing performances have different credits.
Who voices the HUNTR/X characters?
In the English-language film, the speaking roles are performed by Arden Cho as Rumi, May Hong as Mira, and Ji-young Yoo as Zoey. Netflix’s cast guide and film page distinguish the cast from the soundtrack performers.

- KPop Demon Hunters, a Netflix film from Sony Pictures Animation, follows K-pop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey
| Character | English-speaking voice actor | Singing voice |
|---|---|---|
| Rumi | Arden Cho | EJAE |
| Mira | May Hong | Audrey Nuna |
| Zoey | Ji-young Yoo | Rei Ami |
Netflix describes Zoey as HUNTR/X’s resident rapper. These are the English-language role credits; they do not mean the voice actors and singers are the same people.
Does HUNTR/X exist outside the film?
HUNTR/X is the group identity of fictional characters in KPop Demon Hunters, not evidence of a separately formed real-world band. A soundtrack listing can credit the fictional act alongside the performers: for example, Apple Music lists “What It Sounds Like” with HUNTR/X and the singers among its artists. That presentation connects the track to the story’s group; it does not establish HUNTR/X as an independent band.

Are all the film’s songs sung by HUNTR/X?
No. The soundtrack includes songs and performers beyond HUNTR/X. Netflix’s soundtrack guide and film coverage also name artists including Andrew Choi, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee, Neckwav, and Lea Salonga, and note a TWICE version of “Takedown.” Those credits belong to the broader film soundtrack, not to the HUNTR/X trio.
