Chainsaw Man Part 3 has not been announced, and the reported new comments attributed to creator Tatsuki Fujimoto do not establish that a continuation is more likely. Part 2 was reported to have ended in March 2026; the interview behind the newer claim has not been verified through an accessible original video or transcript.

Is Chainsaw Man Part 3 confirmed?

No. ORICON reported that Part 2 concluded on Shonen Jump+ on March 25, 2026, without an announcement of Part 3. Its report also said Volume 24 would be the final collected volume. Those details describe the announced publication status at that time; they do not prove Fujimoto or the publisher will never return to the story. ORICON’s report and Crunchyroll News’ report both say the manga ended in March 2026.

Did Fujimoto say anything about Part 3?

Secondary reports attribute comments about the manga’s ending to Fujimoto during a conversation with director Kohei Kadowaki. Animehunch describes the conversation as a recent interview, while Multiplayer.it says it appeared on the YouTube channel Nothing New. The original interview or a reliable transcript has not been verified here, so the exact wording and attribution should be treated as unconfirmed rather than as a direct, authenticated statement by Fujimoto.

iTechGuides’ assessment notes that the attributed October 2 comments were not corroborated by other retrieved reporting or an accessible primary interview. In particular, calling the ending “rushed” is a characterization, not a verified quotation from Fujimoto. The secondary coverage does not establish that he announced, hinted at, or committed to Part 3.

What did the manga’s final page say?

ORICON transcribed the closing-page message as: “The End. Thank you for reading! Please look forward to Tatsuki Fujimoto’s next work!!” It points readers toward Fujimoto’s next work, but it does not announce a continuation of Chainsaw Man.

What would count as confirmation?

A creator’s reported comment, a formal continuation announcement, and a release listing are different kinds of evidence. For now, the available reporting supports the conclusion that Part 2 ended and Part 3 had not been announced alongside that ending. A verified primary interview could clarify what Fujimoto said, but the attributed remarks as currently reported do not change that status.

For readers collecting the completed story, ORICON reported Volume 24 as the final collected volume. Check the edition and current local availability before buying.
