Dominique Thorne plays Riri Williams, the Chicago inventor who builds iron suits and becomes Ironheart in Marvel Television’s Ironheart. Set after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the series brings Riri’s technology-driven story into conflict with magic and with Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood.
Who plays Riri Williams in Ironheart?
Dominique Thorne stars as Riri Williams/Ironheart. Marvel and Disney describe Riri as a young inventor who returns to Chicago and builds iron suits. The story follows her effort to make her mark at home, where her path becomes entangled with Parker Robbins, The Hood. Marvel’s series page and Proximity Media identify Thorne as the lead; Disney’s production notes describe Riri’s invention-driven approach.
Who is in the Ironheart cast?
The table separates official actor-and-character identifications from supporting role mappings reported by TV Guide. Disney’s and Proximity Media’s materials confirm the principal actors, while the official materials reviewed do not name characters for every cast member.
| Actor | Character | What is confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Dominique Thorne | Riri Williams / Ironheart | Official materials identify Thorne as Riri, a young Chicago inventor who builds iron suits. |
| Anthony Ramos | Parker Robbins / The Hood | Disney identifies Robbins as The Hood and says he becomes entangled with Riri. |
| Lyric Ross | Natalie Washington / N.A.T.A.L.I.E. | TV Guide supplies this role mapping; official cast materials confirm Ross’s participation but do not name her character. |
| Alden Ehrenreich | Joe McGillicuddy / Ezekiel Stane | TV Guide lists both character names alongside Ehrenreich. |
| Regan Aliyah | Zelma | TV Guide maps Aliyah to Zelma. The retrieved official material does not establish the show character’s full name. |
| Manny Montana | Cousin John | TV Guide provides the role mapping; official cast materials confirm Montana’s participation. |
| Matthew Elam | Xavier | TV Guide provides the role mapping; official cast materials confirm Elam’s participation. |
| Anji White | Ronnie Williams | TV Guide provides the role mapping; official cast materials confirm White’s participation. |
The supporting character names come from TV Guide’s cast listing. Marvel’s Zelma character page references Zelma Stanton, but that alone does not confirm the series character’s full name. These are principal cast details, not a complete episode-by-episode cast list.

What is Ironheart about?
Marvel’s official synopsis places the series after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Riri returns to Chicago, works to make her mark, and gets caught up with Parker Robbins/The Hood. The series frames its central tension as technology versus magic: Riri’s defining work is building iron suits, while the story brings her into contact with a magical element. The official synopsis does not provide a detailed recap of Riri’s earlier film storyline, so the confirmed continuity is simply that Ironheart follows Wakanda Forever.
When did Ironheart come out, and where can you watch it?
Marvel and Proximity Media list June 24, 2025 as the release date. Disney UK’s June 8, 2025 announcement gave June 25, 2025 as the launch date in its UK context; those dates reflect different regional launch contexts, not necessarily conflicting information. Disney+ lists Ironheart as a 2025, one-season series, with availability depending on market. Marvel’s release listing, Proximity Media, Disney UK’s announcement, and Disney+’s title page provide the respective details.
