Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin announced in February 2024 that they planned to leave California permanently and move to Florida. The Palm Beach estate they share is the home featured in Veranda’s September/October 2025 issue; an Associated Press profile published September 29, 2026, says Stallone spends much of his time there. The tour’s standout details include a private beach, a screening room filled with film memorabilia, a gym, a keyhole-shaped pool and an extensive art collection.
Inside the Palm Beach home
The estate featured in Veranda is described as having been built in 2014, with high ceilings and oversized windows. Stallone said the house felt inviting, while Flavin described its scale as “a livable size.” Their comments contrast with Stallone’s view of newer houses he had seen: “We looked at some of the houses built after COVID, and they were monstrosities. Monumental structures, but none of them embraced you or made you feel warm. You felt as though you were in a hotel lobby.” Fox Business quoted the remarks from the home feature.
A screening room built around Stallone’s films
The screening room displays objects tied to Stallone’s work, including a knife from First Blood, his Rocky robe and the original Academy Award-nominated Rocky screenplay he wrote. The collection makes the room more than a conventional home theater: it brings together memorabilia from the films that shaped his career.
Pool, gym and artwork
Reporting and photo captions describe a keyhole-shaped pool, a gym, a bar and an extensive art collection. Realtor.com’s August 2025 captions say the pool connects to the gym and identify a Damien Hirst mosaic in the dining room, alongside a custom electric-blue table.

Reported size and property details
The Miami Herald reported in 2025 that the home measures 13,241 square feet, has seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, and includes a library, elevator, temperature-controlled wine room, fireplaces, pool and spa. The outlet also reported more than 250 feet of water frontage and a $35.4 million purchase price. These are the Herald’s reported figures, not an independently verified measurement or a current valuation; property totals can depend on which areas and buildings are counted.
Fox News separately described the estate as sitting on approximately 1.5 lakefront acres with more than 250 feet of beach frontage. The coverage establishes a substantial waterfront property, but not an exact street address, current legal deed or current tax-residency status.

Why Stallone and Flavin left California
Stallone announced the planned move to his daughters during the February 2024 premiere of season two of The Family Stallone. He said: “After long, hard consideration, your mother and I have decided, time to move on and leave the state of California permanently,” then added, “And, we’re going to Florida.” The Los Angeles Times reported that the Florida property had already been secured and that Stallone called it “a done deal.”
Flavin described the decision in terms of family and a new stage of life. As their daughters moved into their own lives, the California home had begun to feel like an “empty nest,” and she wanted a major change after raising them there. The stated explanation was a family-life transition, not a documented political or tax rationale.

How Stallone describes life in Florida
In a September 2025 interview with Fox News Digital, Stallone said, “I love it,” and explained that Florida’s water and lush surroundings suited him better: “So, I’m not a stranger to the environment, but it fits my personality much better.” Those are his personal impressions rather than an objective comparison of Florida and California. The Associated Press reported on September 29, 2026, that he spends much of his time at the Palm Beach estate he shares with Flavin.
Flavin’s comments about home life also put the showpiece rooms in perspective. “I’ve always made every house we’ve ever had a home. I don’t care if someone spills something. I can replace the rug or get it cleaned. We have three dogs and a cat and lots of children. Nothing we own is precious. Our family is precious, but the material things are not precious.”
