Where is Square Enix headquarters in Tokyo?
Square Enix Holdings and Square Enix Co., Ltd. list their Shinjuku headquarters at Shinjuku Eastside Square, 6-27-30 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160-8430. Shinjuku is the headquarters location, not the company’s only Tokyo office; Square Enix also lists a Shibuya office. How did Square Enix’s headquarters get here?
Square Enix Holdings’ official chronology records a move to Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, in July 2003, followed by a move to 6-27-30 Shinjuku in October 2012. The chronology does not state why the company moved in 2012, nor does it establish the building’s architectural history. Square Enix Holdings’ history documents the relocation timeline.
Can you visit Square Enix headquarters?
There is no confirmation in Square Enix’s published information that visitors can tour or enter its employee work areas. The company’s recruiting page describes open development floors, project meeting spaces, motion-capture studios, sound studios, and recording booths; those descriptions explain the workplace, not a visitor attraction. The public-facing destination in the building is ARTNIA on the first floor. Square Enix’s Shinjuku office introduction describes its workspaces.

Is there a Final Fantasy store at Square Enix headquarters?
Yes. ARTNIA is Square Enix’s official shop and cafe on the first floor of Shinjuku Eastside Square. The company describes it as “the only official shop in the world with the sale of goods centered on Square Enix’s popular characters and a cafe & bar.” The shop lists food and drinks as well as character merchandise; it is a retail and dining stop, not a tour of the company’s offices. Check the ARTNIA official site for current details.
What can you buy?
ARTNIA lists figures, apparel, stuffed toys, keychains, CDs, and games. It also notes that some items are available through e-STORE and that the shop carries exclusives. The site warns that goods can be out of stock, so a listing does not guarantee that an item will be available during a visit. Square Enix also provides a related stores directory.

Use Higashi-Shinjuku Station for the most direct approach: Square Enix says Shinjuku Eastside Square connects directly to the station’s A3 exit. Higashi-Shinjuku is served by the Fukutoshin and Oedo lines. Alternatively, Shinjuku-Sanchome Station, served by the Marunouchi and Shinjuku lines, is an eight-minute walk from the address.
