She said she pursued it after exercise and healthy eating did not change everything she wanted changed following the birth of her ten-pound son. Her later fitness updates, after welcoming daughter Teddi in 2025, describe a separate postpartum chapter—not a continuation of that surgery or a standard for how mothers should recover.
What Madison LeCroy said her 2021 mommy makeover involved
In a January 22, 2021 interview with Bravo, the Southern Charm cast member described having a “full mommy makeover.” The report identifies Charleston-based plastic surgeon Dr. Patrick J. O’Neill as the surgeon she consulted.
LeCroy said the procedure included having her abdominal muscles put back together. She described that part of recovery as especially painful. The interview does not provide an operative report or a complete list of procedures, so it does not establish exactly what else was performed.
Why she decided to have surgery
LeCroy said she had worked out and eaten well, but still had changes she felt she could not alter. She connected those changes to carrying and giving birth to her son, whom she described as weighing ten pounds:

“But the thing was, I put in so much work. I worked out, I ate well, and there were things that I just could not change. And that is because I had a ten pound baby, and every mother knows that things are very different after that.”
That is her account of her own decision and body—not evidence that surgery is necessary after pregnancy, or that other people will have the same experience or results.

What she said about her surgeon, recovery and results
LeCroy described the surgeon’s guidance as measured rather than an attempt to add procedures indiscriminately: “He was realistic. He’s like, ‘I don’t think you need that,’ or, ‘I think this is gonna fit you,’” she said in the Bravo interview. She said she was happy with her results and that she was not then rushing toward another procedure.
Her advice in that interview was to put in hard work before surgery. That is her personal view, not medical guidance or a universal rule. The interview reports her experience and satisfaction; it does not establish clinical outcomes, risks, or what recovery is like for other patients.

How her later postpartum fitness updates differ
LeCroy’s accounts after the birth of her daughter Teddi in 2025 describe movement and exercise, not another makeover. They concern a later birth and should not be folded into a single “bounce-back” program.
| Date and life stage | What LeCroy described | What the report establishes |
|---|---|---|
| January 2021: discussing her earlier surgery | Abdominal muscles put back together; she also described painful recovery and satisfaction with her results. | A personal account in a Bravo interview, not an operative report or a guide to typical outcomes. Bravo, January 22, 2021 |
| July 2025: less than three weeks after giving birth to Teddi | She said she was easing into movement with a walk and would wait until healed and cleared before more intensive activity and diet changes. | A personal early-postpartum plan; the report records a 1.4-mile walk, not a recommended target. Bravo, July 19, 2025 |
| February 2026: later fitness update | She was taking Lagree Pilates, emphasizing weights, and had a treadmill in her home gym. | The report describes activities and equipment but gives no verified training protocol, product model, or objective outcome measure. Bravo, February 23, 2026 |
In the July 2025 report, LeCroy put her approach this way: “I’m only 3 weeks postpartum, so right now it’s just movement.” She said she would take on more intensive activity once “healed and cleared.” Her phrase “bounce-back” is informal language for her own plans, not a clinical description or a standard mothers should be expected to meet.

What her earlier fitness coverage adds—and what it does not
A separate Bravo story published January 15, 2021, described LeCroy’s then-current eating and exercise habits, including working with a fitness and accountability coach and trying to exercise several times a week. That report is historical context, not confirmation of her current routine: Bravo’s 2021 diet and exercise report.
Across these accounts, LeCroy has described different choices at different points in her life: surgery in the 2021 interview, then gradual movement and later fitness activities after Teddi’s birth. The reports do not compare outcomes or show that one path is better.
