In a February 2024 interview, Sharon Osbourne said her weight loss had gone too far: after using Ozempic, she said, she lost three stone in four months and was unable to put weight back on. “I’m through with the weight loss and all that cosmetic stuff,” she told The Guardian. Those are her statements at the time of that interview, not a verified account of her current weight or health.
What Sharon Osbourne said about Ozempic
In a 10 February 2024 interview with The Guardian, Osbourne said she had injected Ozempic and lost three stone over four months. She described that amount of loss as too much and said she was through with weight loss and cosmetic procedures. She also said she weighed seven stone at the time and could not put weight on. These figures reflect her account in that interview; they are not independently verified measurements.
Ozempic is part of her personal account here, not a basis for drawing conclusions about why it was prescribed, how it works for other people, or its risks and expected results. The interview does not establish her current medication use or provide a later update on her weight.
Her earlier struggle with weight and surgery
Osbourne has described weight as a long-running concern. In a 2010 interview with The Guardian, she said she had battled her weight for much of her life and discussed having a gastric band. A 2006 Guardian profile reported that she had weight-loss surgery in 1999, calling it stomach stapling.

In a TalkTV interview listing published in September 2023, Osbourne discussed a gastric band, a gastric sleeve and diet drugs; the listing does not clarify when each procedure took place.
What she said in 2023 about reaching her goal weight
The September 2023 TalkTV listing quotes Osbourne reflecting on the difference between wanting a particular weight and living with the result: “My entire life I’ve wanted to be a certain weight, never got there and now I have, it doesn’t suit me. I don’t like it and I can’t change it.” The quote captures her dissatisfaction as she described it, rather than establishing a broader medical explanation.

Osbourne’s public comments trace a shift from discussing a lifelong struggle and earlier weight-loss surgery to saying in 2023–24 that reaching a long-desired weight did not suit her and that the loss had become excessive. Her account is personal testimony, not treatment guidance or evidence of what another person should expect from medication or surgery.
