Disney calls it a lounge, not a speakeasy: its official descriptions do not mention hidden access, passwords, or prohibition-era theming. You need valid EPCOT admission and photo ID to visit.
What GEO-82 is—and where to find it
GEO-82 is an elevated lounge inside the iconic geodesic sphere that houses Spaceship Earth at EPCOT. Its name is a nod to 1982, the year Spaceship Earth opened. Disney announced that GEO-82 would open on June 4, 2025.
Although “speakeasy” is a catchy shorthand for the adults-only setting, Disney’s descriptions present GEO-82 as a lounge. They do not describe a concealed entrance or other features that would make it a literal speakeasy. Disney says the experience draws on the history and legacy of the EPCOT landmark.
Who can visit and what you need
- Age: Guests must be 21 or older.
- Identification: Bring valid photo ID.
- Reservation: Disney says advance reservations are required and space is extremely limited; do not plan on walking in.
- Park entry: Valid EPCOT admission is required. A park reservation may also be required, depending on your admission type.
Check Disney’s GEO-82 listing and its booking flow for date-specific availability and current entry requirements.

Hours and fireworks experience
The official GEO-82 page retrieved for this article lists lunch hours as 11:00 a.m.–3:55 p.m. and dinner hours as 4:00–9:00 p.m. Treat these as the hours displayed on that listing, not a promise for a future date; check Disney’s current page when planning.
Disney also lists a separate GEO-82 Fireworks Experience, described as including light bites, sparkling sips, and seated views of the fireworks. A fireworks view is not guaranteed for every lounge visit. Disney advises checking the entertainment schedule about two weeks ahead and again on the day, since show schedules can change.
