Vogue reproduced his Instagram caption in a September 4, 2024 article. In it, Tatum says Kravitz is exhausted, praises her persistence and commitment to the film, says he is proud to support her and the movie, and closes with “I got you forever.” The message followed the Los Angeles premiere of Blink Twice on August 8, 2024, and it reads as a message about a film project as much as a personal one.
What Tatum’s caption actually says
The caption, as Vogue quoted it, opens with a line about her fatigue: “She So tired bro.” From there it turns to what that tiredness came from. Tatum describes the effort of making the film and credits Kravitz with carrying it through, and he says he is proud to support her and the movie. The post ends with a short sign-off that has become the headline phrase:

Why the caption reads as a message about the film
It would be easy to read “I got you forever” as a generic romantic line. The surrounding text makes the subject clearer. Tatum’s caption refers repeatedly to the labor of making Blink Twice and to supporting its cast and crew. The “back to back against it all” line and the hashtag tie the sentiment to the film itself.
That is also why the word “adorable,” which is how the topic is usually described, needs a concrete reason. The affection is attached to specific things: her persistence, the amount of work she put in, and the fact that the film got made. A public compliment about a partner’s work carries a different weight than a generic romantic post, and this one is closer to the first.

Kravitz’s debut as a writer-director
Blink Twice was Kravitz’s first feature as a writer-director. She wrote it with E.T. Feigenbaum, and she directed Tatum in it. Entertainment Tonight described the film as a psychological thriller. Naomi Ackie plays Frida, and Tatum plays Slater King, a tech mogul. In the synopsis Entertainment Tonight published, Frida is invited to King’s private island, where her friend goes missing and the luxury gives way to danger.
CBS’s official page for its August 11, 2024 Sunday Morning interview describes Kravitz as an actress, producer, executive producer, and first-time writer-director. The segment covered the thriller and her experience directing Tatum.

What the couple said about working together
At the premiere, Kravitz told E! that knowing a collaborator well creates a shorthand and a level of trust. She also said: “I think art is the deepest expression of love, so being able to do that with my partner was amazing.”
Tatum told Entertainment Tonight that they began as friends working on a project they believed in, and he described the collaboration as a way to understand each other’s perspective. Both remarks are from the interviews that published them and reflect how each of them described the project at the time.

Where the relationship stands
The couple was reported engaged in October 2023 and was described as engaged at the August 2024 premiere. E! reports that outlets covered a breakup in October 2024. Coverage from August and September 2024 therefore describes the relationship as it stood then, and it should not be read as a description of their status today.
This article uses the engagement only as a historical detail. Tatum’s caption was written during the period when they were described as engaged, and that context matters for how the message reads.
