How Hurdle’s five rounds work
Hurdle is played in five rounds. In the first round, guesses receive feedback showing which letters are correct, misplaced, or absent. Each solved word then becomes the first guess in the next round. In the final hurdle, answers from earlier rounds provide letter feedback for the last word.
Reading the final-round feedback
Do not assume that the number of times a letter was highlighted earlier tells you how many times it appears in the final answer. Letter counts from previous rounds do not necessarily match the number of occurrences in the final word.
