The Hulu series renewed for Season 2 is Paradise, Dan Fogelman’s mystery drama starring Sterling K. Brown. Hulu scheduled a three-episode Season 2 premiere for February 23, 2026; that date has passed, so check Hulu’s catalog in your region for current availability. The “best new series” label is an opinion, not an objective ranking.
What is Paradise about?
Paradise begins with the shape of a political thriller, following Secret Service agent Xavier Collins. By the end of the first episode, a major reveal changes how viewers understand the story. The series then opens into a wider mystery about the people living in Paradise and the origins of their community. This description avoids disclosing the twist.

Hulu’s official synopsis for Season 2 says: “Xavier searches for Teri out in the world and learns how people survived the three years since The Day.” It also describes tensions fraying within Paradise and new secrets about the city coming to light. Hulu’s official Paradise page has the current series description.
Is Paradise renewed for Season 2?
Yes. BGR reported the renewal on February 24, 2025. Hulu’s February 2026 schedule subsequently listed Paradise: Three-Episode Season 2 Premiere for February 23, 2026, as a Hulu Original. The schedule confirms the announced premiere date, not whether the season is currently available in every territory. Hulu’s February 2026 schedule is the official source for that listing.

Who made the series, and who is in it?
Dan Fogelman created and executive-produces Paradise; Hulu identifies it as a 20th Television production. The official page lists Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans among the stars.
Why was the renewal news notable?
BGR reported that the series drew 7 million views in its first week, attributing that figure to Hulu. The reported total covered Hulu in the United States and Disney+ internationally; it was not presented as an independently audited measurement. BGR also cited preliminary Nielsen data projecting the show onto the Streaming Top 10 Originals chart for January 27–February 2, 2025. That was a projection, not a final ranking. BGR’s February 24, 2025 report covered the renewal and the audience figure.

Who might enjoy Paradise?
The show is a better fit for viewers who like serialized mysteries and stories built around an ensemble or community than for viewers seeking a straightforward political thriller. Because the first episode’s reveal reframes the premise, viewers who prefer to go in unspoiled should avoid plot summaries beyond the opening setup. Calling it one of the year’s best is a critic’s judgment; the renewal and premiere listing are factual milestones, not proof of a universal ranking.
