Year check (updated August 18, 2026): USC and Michigan are not scheduled to play a regular-season football game in 2026. The most recent meeting was Michigan at USC on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific (noon Eastern) on NBC. This guide explains the legitimate ways viewers could stream that NBC broadcast and how to handle a future matchup. If you meant the 2024 game, it was a different broadcast: USC at Michigan on CBS on September 21, 2024.
For the 2025 game, check Peacock first, then a live-TV streaming service that carries your local NBC affiliate. An antenna was another legal option for viewers within reception range, although it was not an online stream.

Current prices, taxes, promotional periods, DVR allowances, simultaneous streams and supported-device details vary by location and signup state. A live-TV service is usually the most straightforward choice when you also want a DVR and other sports, but it can cost more than a one-event solution.

Free and low-cost legal options
- Existing subscription: Use an active Peacock or live-TV account only within its household, location and simultaneous-stream rules.
- Eligible promotion: A provider may offer a trial or introductory rate, but eligibility, duration and sports access are not guaranteed. Set a reminder before renewal.
- Over-the-air antenna: An antenna can receive the local NBC affiliate without a monthly streaming bill when reception is adequate. It is not an internet stream and will not help while traveling.
- Public venue: A bar, campus venue or other establishment may legally show the broadcast.
Do not use unofficial aggregators, pirated restreams, “free IPTV” services, unauthorized social-media feeds or VPN workarounds intended to evade regional or household restrictions.
If NBC is missing or the stream fails
- Check the network or provider’s official event listing.
- Re-enter your ZIP code and confirm that the local NBC affiliate is included in the exact plan you selected.
- Compare another live-TV provider; NBC availability is not identical in every market.
- If the app fails, try the provider’s web player, update the app and verify location permissions.
- Sign out and back in if the account is tied to a different household or location.
- Use a strong Wi-Fi or wired connection and begin at least 15 minutes early.
- Keep an authorized second provider, antenna or public venue as a backup for an important game.
After the live window, check Peacock, NBC’s relevant authenticated service or the provider that carried the event for an on-demand replay. Replay rights and availability can expire.

Travelers and viewers outside the United States
U.S. services may enforce local-channel, household and territory rules. A traveler should confirm whether the account works at the destination, whether local NBC changes there and whether a laptop browser is supported if a television app is unavailable. Viewers outside the United States should use the official broadcaster or rights holder for their country; international rights vary by territory.
Do not rely on the FOX listing
A FOX page currently associated with “USC at Michigan” resolves to a women’s college-basketball replay, not the football broadcast: FOX event page. It is therefore not evidence that FOX or FOX One carries the USC–Michigan football game.
