Use an ESPN provider login if prompted
If you already subscribe to a cable, satellite or live-TV service that includes ESPN, open the ESPN app or ESPN.com/watch, find the event and sign in with your TV provider credentials if requested. ESPN+ is not the same as ESPN

- Sign out of ESPN and sign in again, or try your provider’s own app if authentication fails.
- Update the ESPN app or try a supported browser or connected-TV device.
- Check whether the page offers a full replay, rather than only a highlight or clip.

When and where the game was played
The Cotton Bowl CFP quarterfinal took place on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The College Football Playoff listed kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET; the Cotton Bowl’s local announcement gave the Arlington kickoff as 6:30 p.m. CT. Both times refer to the same start. The game was played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The official CFP game page lists No. 2 Ohio State against No. 10 Miami, and the Cotton Bowl announcement gives the local time and venue.

ESPN carried the game in the United States. The official 2025–26 CFP schedule and game listing identify ESPN as the network. This Cotton Bowl quarterfinal was not listed as an ABC broadcast.
Final score and outcome
Miami defeated Ohio State 24–14 and advanced to the CFP semifinal. The Hurricanes led 14–0 at halftime. Ohio State cut the lead to 14–7 in the third quarter, then to 17–14 in the fourth before Miami’s late touchdown settled the score. The official CFP recap reports the result.
