Epic’s five-part experience opened on August 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. ET and ended on August 26, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. ET. That means players cannot attend the original concert or newly earn its event-specific attendance rewards through the original event window as of August 12, 2026.
This guide explains how the concert worked when it was available, which rewards were free, which rewards belonged to the paid Premium Reward Track, and how to check whether any related cosmetics or music have returned through a current Fortnite offering.
Is the Karol G Fortnite concert still available?
No. The original Karol G: MSB Fortnite experience was a limited-time event. It began on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. ET and closed on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. ET.
Archived videos, screenshots, and old walkthroughs can show what the experience looked like, but they do not prove that the official event is currently playable. Unless Epic announces a relaunch, the original concert should be treated as a completed event rather than a Fortnite island that can still be entered.

How players watched the concert when it was live
During the event window, no concert ticket, retail purchase, special console, or paid add-on was required. Players accessed the experience through Fortnite itself:
- Install and launch Fortnite on a supported platform.
- Open the Discover screen.
- Select the Karol G: MSB Fortnite experience.
- Enter between August 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. ET and August 26, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. ET.
- Attend the concert in full if you wanted to qualify for the attendance reward.
Players could attend in a party of up to four people—one player plus up to three party members. Epic’s instructions directed players to find the experience through Discover; they did not require buying a Fortnite gift card, V-Bucks, controller, headset, or gaming system.
Which Karol G rewards were free?
The main free attendance reward was the Bichota 4-String Bass. It was tied to attending the concert in full during the limited event period. Because that period has expired, players should not expect to receive the bass simply by launching Fortnite now.
The associated Karol G Quests also offered:
- Love, Karol G Loading Screen
- Karol G Banner Icon
These rewards were separate from the Premium Reward Track. Completing the quests or attending the concert did not mean that a player had purchased the paid track.

The Premium Reward Track included items such as:
- Bichota Season Karol G Outfit
- Bichota Mic
- Bichota 6-String Guitar
- Karol G’s “Qlona” Jam Track
- Additional Fortnite Festival rewards
These were paid in-game rewards, not free event rewards. Epic also said that items from the free and Premium Reward Tracks were not necessarily permanently exclusive and could potentially become available for purchase in the Item Shop later. “Could” is important: that statement was not a promise that every item would return, and it does not confirm availability in August 2026.
Can you still get the Karol G cosmetics or Jam Track?
Possibly—but only if Epic has separately brought a related item back through a current Fortnite offering. Availability can change, so the reliable checks are:
- Open the current Fortnite Item Shop and search the available categories for Karol G-related cosmetics or music.
- Check the live Fortnite client for any newly listed experience, quest, or Festival content.
- Look for a fresh announcement from Epic or Fortnite confirming a return, rerun, or new Karol G collaboration.
Do not assume that an old guide, social-media post, third-party wiki, or archived concert video reflects the current Item Shop. In particular, there is no basis to promise that the Bichota 4-String Bass, Love, Karol G Loading Screen, or Karol G Banner Icon can still be claimed.

Where Fortnite can be played
Fortnite supports PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, Android, and iPhone/iPad platforms subject to Epic’s current compatibility requirements.
The historical event instructions did not require a particular device beyond a supported Fortnite platform. A physical controller, headset, console, gaming PC, or V-Bucks card did not unlock the free reward. The reward was connected to event attendance and quest completion, not to a hardware or product purchase.
What to do if Fortnite is not working on Windows
Fixing a Fortnite installation will not restore the expired Karol G concert or grant missed cosmetics. However, if you are troubleshooting Fortnite generally on Windows, Epic’s standard support process includes checking the installation and verifying the game files through the Epic Games Launcher.

A practical troubleshooting sequence is:
- Close Fortnite and the Epic Games Launcher.
- Restart Windows.
- Open the Epic Games Launcher and go to Library.
- Find Fortnite, select the three-dot menu, and choose Manage or Verify, depending on the current launcher interface.
- Allow the verification process to finish, then launch the game again.
If Fortnite still crashes, record the error message and consult Epic’s current support documentation. Avoid software or websites that claim a PC repair tool, configuration change, or download can unlock a retired event reward.
Be careful with “free Karol G reward” offers
Fortnite’s free-item guidance warns that many free items are linked to a particular season and may only be available during that season. Epic Player Support also cannot simply grant missed cosmetics on request.
Be especially cautious with pages offering:
- Free V-Bucks in exchange for your Epic Games login
- A download that supposedly unlocks the Bichota 4-String Bass
- “Working” event codes copied from old videos
- Surveys requesting payment information for a free cosmetic
- Unofficial claims that buying a gift card or accessory will restore the concert
Do not enter your Epic account credentials on an unofficial reward page. A genuine return would need to be confirmed through Fortnite itself or a current official Epic announcement.
