The 138th Rose Parade is scheduled for Friday, January 1, 2027, starting at 8:00 a.m. Pacific in Pasadena, with the official event listing showing an 8:00–10:00 a.m. window. The 2027 TV and streaming partners have not yet been announced in the official sources available. The cheapest plan is to check the Tournament of Roses’ official viewing page closer to New Year’s Day and use a confirmed free stream or local broadcast you can already access.
What time is the 2027 Rose Parade, and where can you watch it?
The Tournament of Roses lists the 138th Rose Parade for Friday, January 1, 2027, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Pacific in Pasadena. See the official Rose Parade event listing for the schedule and event information.
The official sources reviewed do not yet identify the 2027 television channels or streaming services. Check the Tournament of Roses’ Where to Watch or Livestream page closer to the event. Until its 2027 lineup is posted, no channel or platform should be treated as confirmed.
How to watch without paying for a live-TV package
- Check the official viewing page near January 1. Look for the 2027 broadcast and livestream list, including any free options and their start times.
- Choose a route you already have. If a free stream is confirmed, use a compatible TV, streaming device, phone, or computer. If a local station is listed and you can receive it, watch over the air. Avoid buying a paid live-TV bundle just for the parade unless you also want its other channels.
- Verify the details before relying on a service. Confirm whether the stream is free, whether it requires an account or app, which devices it supports, and whether it is live or available later. Availability may vary by location.
A paid subscription to a service and a free stream carried by that service are not necessarily the same thing. In 2026, for example, the official guide listed free Fubo Sports Network carriage on several platforms; it did not say viewers needed a paid Fubo subscription for that separately listed free channel. Recheck the 2027 terms rather than assuming they will match.

What worked in 2026—and what remains unconfirmed for 2027
The following information is useful as a list of places to recheck, not as a promise of 2027 carriage. The Tournament of Roses’ official 2026 guides named these national TV outlets and streaming partners:
| 2026 category | Services and outlets named by the organizer | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| National television outlets | ABC, CNN, Fox, Great American Family, KTLA, NBC, Telemundo, and Univision | These were listed for the 2026 parade. Local station availability can vary; the 2027 lineup is not confirmed. |
| Official streaming partners | Christmas Plus, Dooya, FanDuel Sports Network, Fubo Sports Network, GFam+, Great American Pure Flix, Pluto TV, and Samsung TV Plus | These were listed for 2026 only. Check the official page for any 2027 services, access requirements, and geography limits. |
The 2026 viewing guide said Pluto TV streamed the parade free on its Christmas channel from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Pacific. It also listed Fubo Sports Network as free on Amazon Prime Video, LG Channels, Samsung TV Plus, Sling Freestream, The Roku Channel, VIZIO WatchFree+, Tubi, Plex, TCL Channels, TCL Live TV, and Tablo TV. Those were 2026 arrangements; verify the next event’s listings and terms before planning around them. The official sources also named app and device options for other services.

Can an antenna get the parade for free?
An indoor HDTV antenna may be an option if a local station carries the parade and its signal reaches your home. Reception depends on your location, antenna placement, and local station coverage; a national outlet’s appearance on a prior-year list does not guarantee that a nearby station will air the 2027 parade. Check the confirmed local listing before buying an antenna, and treat it as optional rather than a requirement.
Will the parade be available to watch later?
The organizer’s 2026 broadcast announcement said the full livestream would remain available through January 14 on most platforms and for up to one year on select platforms. That was the 2026 archive policy, not a guarantee for 2027. If you cannot watch live, check the 2027 platform listing for replay availability and how long the video will remain accessible.
