*Disclaimer* is a finished seven-episode limited series streaming in full through Apple’s Apple TV service. In the United States, you can watch it in the Apple TV app or at tv.apple.com; an Apple TV 4K box is not required. Apple’s consumer page listed the subscription at $12.99 per month after a seven-day trial for eligible new subscribers on August 18, 2026.
Where to stream Disclaimer
Apple’s official U.S. home for the series is the Apple TV streaming service. Open the series page at tv.apple.com/us/show/disclaimer, or find Disclaimer in the Apple TV app. The subscription includes the episodes, so you do not need to purchase individual installments.
The official U.S. streaming home identified by Apple is Apple TV—not Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Max, or Peacock. A third-party U.S. availability listing is also available from JustWatch.
How much does watching it cost?

Apple says an Apple TV subscription can be shared with up to five family members. A trial is potentially the least expensive legitimate route for a one-series viewer who is eligible and can finish all seven episodes within seven days. Trials can renew automatically; cancel before the renewal date if you do not want a paid subscription, and rely on Apple’s current terms for the exact deadline.
How to watch without Apple hardware
“Apple TV” can mean the streaming service, the Apple TV app or the Apple TV 4K device. You need access to the service, not the dedicated box.

Watch in a web browser

- Choose the trial or subscription offer shown for your region.
- Sign in with an Apple Account, or create one.
- Search for Disclaimer.
- Open the series page and select an episode.
Watch through a television or streaming-device app
- Open the Apple TV app on your television, streaming device, console or Apple TV hardware.
- Sign in with the Apple Account linked to the subscription.
- Search for Disclaimer.
- Select the series and start an episode.
Apple lists support across iPhone and iPad, Mac and Windows computers, Android devices, Apple TV 4K, compatible Samsung, LG, Sony, VIZIO, TCL and Hisense televisions, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV or Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation, Xbox and some cable boxes. Compatibility can vary by model, operating-system version and country.
Is Disclaimer still releasing new episodes?
No. It premiered on October 11, 2024, as a seven-episode limited series. Apple released the first two episodes that day, then one episode each Friday through November 15, 2024. The complete run is now available on demand rather than arriving weekly. See Apple’s announcement at Apple TV Press.

What is the series about?
Cate Blanchett plays Catherine Ravenscroft, a celebrated journalist whose life is threatened when she receives a novel that appears to expose dark secrets from her past. Alfonso Cuarón wrote and directed the adaptation of Renée Knight’s bestselling novel. The cast includes Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen, Lesley Manville, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Louis Partridge, Leila George, Hoyeon and Indira Varma as narrator. Is it suitable for children?
Apple rates Disclaimer TV-MA and lists advisories for language, sexual content and violence. Check the rating and advisories on the series listing before watching with family.

Downloads and offline viewing
Apple says Apple Originals can be downloaded to Apple devices for offline viewing. Availability depends on the device, app, account and Apple’s current policies; do not assume downloads work on every smart TV, console or browser. Details are on Apple’s Apple TV product page.

- Confirm that you are signed in to the Apple Account that holds the subscription or trial.
- Check that the trial or paid plan activated successfully.
- Search for the exact title, “Disclaimer,” rather than a movie-style search such as “Disclaimer Cate Blanchett movie.”
- Try tv.apple.com in a browser to separate an account problem from an app or device problem.
- Update the Apple TV app or device software where applicable and verify that the model is supported.
- Check your country or region: catalogues, prices, payment methods and offers can differ. Apple’s launch announcement described global availability, but it does not make every current regional offer identical.
Buying Apple hardware solely for this series is unnecessary; a compatible device you already own or a browser is enough.
